Katherine Miracle is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly three decades of experience in criminal law, litigation, and courtroom advocacy. Her career has afforded her the uncommon perspective of having served as a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and criminal magistrate judge. That experience allows her to approach each matter with a comprehensive understanding of how prosecutors, defense counsel, judges, and law enforcement evaluate complex and high-stakes cases.

Katherine joined Bobbitt, Pinckard & Fields II, APC in October 2026. Her practice focuses on representing state and federal law enforcement officers in internal affairs investigations, critical incidents, administrative appeals, and criminal matters. She brings to that representation extensive experience in criminal investigations, trial strategy, courtroom advocacy, and the demands faced by law enforcement professionals in both administrative and criminal proceedings.

Throughout her career, Katherine has handled hundreds of criminal matters and has served as lead counsel in more than 50 jury trials, more than 30 bench trials, and hundreds of contested domestic violence protective order hearings. She spent 12 years as an Assistant District Attorney with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where she developed substantial experience prosecuting criminal cases and trying matters before judges and juries. She subsequently managed her own criminal defense practice, representing individuals facing a wide range of criminal allegations.

Katherine’s experience also includes three years as a Criminal Magistrate Judge at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center in Dallas County, Texas. From 2006 to 2009, she conducted felony and misdemeanor arraignment hearings, set bonds, reviewed and approved arrest warrants, and evaluated applications for emergency protective orders, extended jail holds, and mental-health arrest warrants. Her judicial experience provided her with a firsthand understanding of the considerations that inform judicial decision-making and the importance of careful, effective advocacy at every stage of a criminal proceeding.

For nearly a decade, Katherine has participated in the Conference on Crimes Against Women, reflecting her longstanding commitment to issues involving criminal justice, victims, and the fair administration of justice. Her career has been defined by extensive courtroom experience, rigorous advocacy, and a commitment to protecting the rights and interests of those she represents.

Katherine earned her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 1997 and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego, in 1994. While at McGeorge, she received numerous awards and commendations for her written and oral advocacy as a member of both the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team, which competed in Vienna, Austria, and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition team. She has been a member of the State Bar of California since 1997 and the State Bar of Texas since 1998.

Outside of her practice, Katherine values time spent with family and friends exploring new destinations, sailing, and enjoying the natural beauty and vibrant culture of San Diego.
