UPDATE - September 7, 2006

As most of you are aware, our office has mailed the final payment of attorneys fees and costs to all successful prevailing Adams/Barnes/Bates plaintiffs.  This check represents the final amount of attorney fees and costs, which were ordered reimbursed to you by the United States Court of Federal Claims.  The amount of your check has been divided equally among each of you, as prevailing plaintiffs, in accordance with the Legal Services Agreement signed by each of you at the onset of this litigation.  

In addition to the final payment of attorneys fees and costs, eligible Bates plaintiffs were also mailed their check for final damages of their claims.  As you will recall, only the following three (3) positions were eligible for FLSA overtime in the Bates matter: 1) Training Instructor/Course Developer, 2) Senior Tactical Coordinator and 3) Deputy Assistant Regional Director.  No other positions were eligible to receive FLSA overtime.

The post office has been unable to deliver or forward several checks because of old mailing addresses and has returned them back to our office.    If you believe you are entitled to final payment in the Adams/Barnes/Bates matters and have not yet received your check, please contact our office to ensure that we have your correct address.
