UPDATE - July 7, 2006
ADAMS/BARNES/BATES
Adams/Barnes Plaintiffs:
Last week, our office mailed checks to all successful prevailing Adams/Barnes plaintiffs. This check represents your share of the remaining attorneys fees and costs which were held in trust pending resolution of the Bates matter. The Bates matter has now been resolved. In accordance with the Legal Services Agreement signed by each of you at the onset of this litigation, the amount of your check represents the final amount of attorney fees and costs which have been ordered reimbursed to you by the United States Court of Federal Claims and which have been divided equally among each of you as prevailing plaintiffs. Accordingly, this concludes our representation of each of you. It has been our pleasure to have represented you in these matters and we wish you the best of luck in the future.
Bates Plaintiffs:
As
you may recall, eligible Bates plaintiffs had until April 21, 2006 to
report any discrepancies concerning the pay registers and final calculations our
office received from the government.
No discrepancies were reported and this information was immediately
passed on to the government for final processing.
As of this update, the government has not yet wired the monies due to our
client trust account.
As soon as this money is received, we will immediately send each of you
your share of the attorneys fees and costs as described above in addition to any
monies awarded in accordance with the governments final calculations.
We will update this website as soon as this occurs.
