The law firm of Bobbitt, Pinckard & Fields, A.P.C. is devoted solely to legal defense representation of law enforcement officers and police officers' associations. Our attorneys will not meet with an individual who has a union or association available to them and chooses not to obtain membership. We also offer legal assistance for those officers who are considered "management" and, as such, are not eligible for participation in a union or association.

We also serve civilian (non-sworn) employees of law enforcement agencies who are covered by police officers' associations' legal plans or by the PORAC Legal Defense Fund.

In instances where an officer loses legal defense coverage through their association and/or PORAC, our office may agree to represent the officer on an hourly basis, subject to payment of a retainer and signing a legal services agreement. Representation of a private client is at the sole discretion of our office and is generally limited to defense of "course and scope of employment" matters.
